Who We Are

The Alliance of Ontario Food Processors (Alliance) is a single voice under which all food and beverage processing companies, regardless of their size, can join together to provide a cohesive, united voice on issues vital to the industry. Current membership in the Alliance includes exisiting industry assocaitions and individual company members.

The focus of the Alliance of Ontario Food Processors is on a successful future for the industry, changes and actions necessary to achieve this future and the strategies to get there. Released in 2008, The Strategy for Ontario's Food and Beverage Processing Indsutry is intended to guide both industry and government in policy and decision making over the next five to ten years. The Strategy focuses the Alliance on four priorities for the successful future of the industry:

Greater Collaboration and Communicaiton with Farmers, Government(s), Retail/Foodservice Sector
Regulatory Modernization to Create a Supportive Business Climate
Enhancing Competitiveness Through Innovation, Productivity, Improvements and Research and Development
Development of a Workforce with the Skills Required to Support the Sector
